2016 Rocky Mountain Rally JUNE 4TH (more operators needed)

Hi Folks,

So here with 3 weeks to go we're still looking for about 5 more people for the event on Saturday - June 4th.

That mean's that if you can come out on Friday and work the event on Saturday, then after the event ends on Saturday at about 7:30 PM you can either stay for the volunteer appreciation party or head home that night.

Also, remember this is one of the best ways that YOU as a member can directly help support CARA and help us keep costs and membership dues down.

Why? - We get free rent from the Sports Car Club for our station and our meetings upstairs.  In exchange for that we are expected as a ham radio club to help out with communications for their event, and besides the rally is just great fun to watch and help out at, and it's great radio practice.

This year we are following the same plan as last year and CARA will cover up to $50.00 dollars per day for gas for a maximum of 2 days with a valid receipt(s).

They are also going to cover meals for both days with $15.00 per person per day again with a valid receipt for a maximum of two days.

There will be lunch provided for both days at the rally again this year but we may just setup a station where you can make your own lunches ...... no firm plan yet.  (Sorry)
